Book Arts Summer Camp for Teens
June 29–July 2 | Monday–Thursday | 1:00–3:30 PM
Discover the creative world of artist's books—artworks that look or function like books but are made in imaginative ways. In this hands-on camp, students will design and build their own unique books using drawings, colors, textures, and words.
We'll learn foundational bookmaking techniques such as accordion folds, flag books, one-sheet books, and simple pamphlet stitching, while exploring fun ways to decorate with paint, pencils, ink, stamps, and more.
Perfect for teens who love making things, experimenting with art, and creating 3-dimensional projects. All supplies are provided and yours to keep. Optional: bring favorite art materials or small objects that inspire you.
Accessibility is important. If you require mobility, sensory, or learning accommodations, please contact the instructor in advance so the workshop can be adjusted to best support you.
