SAFETY WAIVER

Safety Waiver

I understand that I will use and/or be exposed to scissors, X-Acto knifes, carving tools, glue, paint, ink, and various other art materials during FREAK’N ART workshops, classes, and DIY studio hours. I agree to be responsible for any damage to FREAK’N ART’s tools, equipment, or facilities, to the extent and in the percentage, I cause such damage.

I recognize there may be certain inherent risks in participating in FREAK’N ART workshops, classes, and DIY hours. I agree to take precautions and observe all FREAK’N ART policies, recommendations, directions, rules, and warnings, whether provided orally or in writing. I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and my personal belongings. I also understand that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.

I further agree to release and discharge FREAK’N ART for any illness, injury, loss, or damage that may arise out of my participation in FREAK’N ART’s workshops, classes, DIY hours or my presence in FREAK’N ART’s studio whether caused by me, FREAK’N ART or any third party.

I agree to indemnify and defend FREAK’N ART against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments costs or expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees and other litigation costs which may in any way arise from my participation in FREAK’N ART workshops, classes, DIY studio hours or my presence in FREAK’N ART’s studio.

We love sharing both photos and videos of participants’ experiences at our studio as well as the beautiful work you create through our social, digital, and print advertisements! If you prefer not to share your photo or video, please opt out of picture-taking during your workshop, class, or DIY studio hours. I also consent to the use of any photos or videos of our designs or studio workshop experiences that may have been tagged on our social media pages or have used the #freaknart. Please do not share the photo or tag us if you prefer to keep the image private.

I HAVE READ THE FREAK’N ART POLICIES AND THIS SAFETY WAIVER AND UNDERSTAND THEM. I FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT BY CHECKING THE “ACCEPT POLICIES” BOX, I VOLUNTARILY SURRENDER CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS THAT I MIGHT OTHERWISE HAVE.
