Community Garden
When: Wednesdays 5pm - 7pm
July 10th & 24th
August 7th & 21st
September 4th
Where: FREAK'N ART, 1265 NW Wall. St., Bend, OR, 97703
What: A community-built, fiber-based art installation.
Much like a traditional community garden, this fiber-based installation and the accompanying build workshops provide an opportunity for learning, stress relief, and bring people in our community together to build stronger ties.
Community Garden aims to expand our community’s interest and access to visual arts and allow people to explore their creativity. FREAK’N ART will host 5 separate build sessions at their downtown studio. Materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring in their own scraps and mementos to include in their fiber-based creations.
