Private Events at Freak'n Art

Looking for a unique venue for your next celebration? Freak'n Art is the perfect spot for your private party, birthday bash, bachelorette soirée, work gathering, or family get-together. Our studio offers a creative, fun environment where you and your group can make something — and make lasting memories doing it.

We host a limited number of private events so that every group gets our full attention. We recommend reaching out as early as possible to secure your date — our studio schedule is set up to two months in advance. We respond to all inquiries within 3 business days.

What We Offer

Private Classes with Anastasia

Book a dedicated class led by Anastasia Zielinski, owner, artist, and arts educator at Freak'n Art. Anastasia will guide your group through a fun, creative experience tailored to your crew. Please inquire for available projects and scheduling.

Private Classes with Guest Artists

We work with a talented roster of guest artists who bring their own unique skills and mediums to the studio. Many of our guest artists work across multiple locations and have their own schedules and commitments, so availability for private events varies. Please inquire for details on specific artists, their offerings, and group minimums.

DIY Studio Experience

Prefer a more flexible option? Let everyone in your group choose their own project from our DIY menu and create something uniquely theirs.

Off-Site Events

We'll bring the studio to you. Off-site events start at $350. A mileage fee may be added for locations more than 30 miles from our studio.

Studio Details

Capacity: Our studio comfortably accommodates up to 10 people and can fit up to 15, though it will be cozy. Please keep this in mind when planning your group.

Parking: On-site parking is available at the studio.

Booking: Our studio schedule is set up to two months in advance. The earlier you reach out, the better your chances of securing your preferred date.

Supply ordering: To ensure we have everything ready for your event, we finalize all supply orders two weeks before your event date. Full payment and event details are required by that time.

Age Guidelines

We love welcoming all ages to the studio and have had wonderful experiences with young makers — we've successfully worked with children as young as four years old. Age suitability is ultimately up to parents and guardians, and we are happy to help you find the right project for your group.

General guidance: We suggest ages 7 and up for most projects.

Lino cut & block printing: Recommended for ages 12 and up due to the tools involved.

Food, Beverages & Gratuity

Food & beverages: You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages, including alcohol. Please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Gratuity: Gratuity is never expected but always appreciated. If your group loved their experience, tips can be added at the event and go directly to the artist leading your class.

Pricing

Deposit: A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to secure your booking.

In-studio events: Start at $250 regardless of group size. Depending on project or class type, a per-person material fee will be added. Please email us for detailed offerings and pricing.

Off-site events: Start at $350 regardless of group size. A mileage fee may apply for locations more than 30 miles from the studio.

Group size changes: If your group size decreases, please notify us at least one week before your event. Changes notified after this window will be charged based on the original group size. Please note we always charge a minimum of $250 for in-studio events and $350 for off-site events, regardless of group size.

Full balance: The remaining balance is due in full two weeks before your event so we can confirm supplies and finalize our schedule for your group.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans change. Because we plan our studio schedule months in advance and order supplies two weeks before your event, we ask that you notify us as early as possible if your plans change.

If We Cancel

If Freak'n Art needs to cancel your private event for any reason, you will receive a full 100% refund to your original form of payment, or the option to reschedule at no charge. We will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to find an alternative date if desired.

Rescheduling

We understand that life happens and will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests. Because our studio schedule is set months in advance, we ask that you notify us as early as possible — ideally at least two weeks before your event. All rescheduling requests are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on studio availability.

1st reschedule: No fee.

2nd reschedule: $50 fee.

3rd reschedule: Not available. If you are unable to commit to the second rescheduled date, the booking will be canceled with no refund.

No rescheduling within 48 hours of your event.
