Sew Easy: Button-Up Shirt Workshop (Intermediate Sewing Class)
Ready to take on one of the most rewarding (and skill-building!) garments in sewing? This intermediate workshop is all about constructing a classic button-up shirt from start to finish.

Creating a button-up shirt requires a wide range of technical skills, which is why we’ve dedicated an entire class to this project. We’re excited for you to strengthen your sewing abilities and refine your technique while making a practical, polished, and wearable garment.
In this class, you’ll work from a commercial pattern to create a button-up shirt (men’s and women’s options available). Along the way, you’ll learn how to:

Set sleeves with confidence

Construct collars and collar stands

Sew cuffs and plackets

Assemble and finish a professional-quality garment

Hand-sew buttons and create buttonholes

Make simple fit adjustments for a more customized finish
This is a small class (limited to 4 students) to ensure plenty of personalized instruction and one-on-one guidance throughout the process.
Prerequisite:
Completion of Sew Easy: Pajamas for Beginners or equivalent sewing experience. Students should be comfortable using a sewing machine, sewing straight seams, and following a basic pattern.
Materials Needed:
