This piece is inspired by the garden patio of my neighbor Rosalinda in the el centro neighborhood of Mexico City. Outside of our apartment complex was all the crazy hustle and bustle of the centro...and the smells, we lived on a street of chicken vendors. The Apartment building didn't look very inviting from the outside, but inside was a lovely courtyard filled with equally lovely neighbors. Rosalinda's patio was my favorite! A little tropical oasis in the middle of all the chaos.
