Sew Easy: Intro to Pattern Making (Intermediate Workshop)
Ready to take your sewing skills to the next level? If you’ve been working with commercial patterns and are ready to start creating garments that truly fit you, this class is the perfect next step.
🧵 Class Dates: Thursdays, October 29th through November 19th
🕠 Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
In this 4-week series, you’ll learn the fundamentals of flat pattern making while drafting your own custom garment using your personal measurements. Choose between creating a skirt or pants, and walk away with a pattern that’s uniquely yours.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to:
- Take accurate body measurements
- Draft a custom pattern from scratch
- Understand pattern-making terminology and tools
- Develop a garment using your own pattern
- Make simple fit adjustments for a more personalized result
By the end of the class, you’ll have a completed custom pattern and a deeper understanding of how garments are constructed—giving you the confidence to continue creating and modifying your own designs.
This is a small class (limited to 4 students) to allow for individualized instruction and support throughout the process.
