Resin Suncatcher

Create a dazzling, light-catching work of art in this fun and beginner-friendly Resin Suncatcher Class! Using beautifully laser-cut forms as your framework, you’ll design a one-of-a-kind suncatcher with fast-cure resin, vibrant alcohol inks, sparkling glitter, shimmering mica powders, and other decorative effects to create luminous color and dimension. Choose from a variety of designs and experiment with layering, blending, and sparkle to make a piece that is uniquely yours. Thanks to the fast-cure resin, your project will be ready in about an hour—giving you time to relax, see what others have created, and visit with friends before taking your finished creation home.
No experience necessary, all tools and supplies provided!
Artist Statement:
My artistic practice spans a diverse range of media, with a particular focus on mosaic art, where I continually push the boundaries of this traditional medium. I also explore various other forms of expression, including glass fusing, ceramics, polymer clay, and metalwork. This eclectic mix of techniques allows me to experiment with textures, colors, and forms, creating works that are as varied as they are innovative. Each medium I work with offers a new challenge and an opportunity to blend traditional methods with contemporary creativity.
