FREAK'N Kids Studio: COLOR
This week is all about exploring the vibrant world of color in a hands-on, creative camp!
When: Monday–Thursday, June 22–25 | 9:30 AM–12:00 PM
Led by artist Anastasia Zielinski
Young artists will dive into the color wheel, learning about primary and secondary colors, as well as complementary colors. Inspiration comes from renowned artists such as Mark Rothko, Wassily Kandinsky, and Alma Thomas.
Camp activities include:

Monochromatic Landscape Painting: Explore shades and tints within a single color to create depth and mood.

Complementary Color Collages: Learn how to make colors pop using complementary color combinations.

Geometric Mosaic Landscapes: Combine shapes and colors to create visually striking mosaic-style landscapes.

Rainbow Pour Paintings: Experiment with fluid painting techniques to create colorful, flowing designs.
Students will develop an understanding of color theory, composition, and creative expression while making multiple colorful artworks to take home.
