Stepping Stones

Turn a boring garden path into a gallery of imagination! In this hands-on workshop, kids ages 8 and up will learn the ancient art of mosaics by designing and casting their very own concrete stepping stone. Whether they want to create a shimmering sun, a colorful creature, or a geometric masterpiece, we provide the tools to make it happen.
About the Instructor
Angela Mion is an local mixed-media artist who works with mosaic, watercolor, quilling, and assemblage techniques to transform everyday objects and materials into new forms of art. Through her work, Angela explores the concept of sustainability by giving discarded materials new life, reducing the carbon footprint while creating unique, thought-provoking pieces. Drawing inspiration from the beauty in the mundane, she challenges traditional notions of art and repurposes familiar items to reveal their hidden potential. Angela's work speaks to the power of creative reuse, bridging the gap between art and environmental consciousness.
